300mm Orestegor day VI

300mm Orestegor day! its a burden to walk with it, let alone shoot photo's with it, due to its weight , 2,3 kg !!

but it on the other hand, its rewarding to see the results taken with this manual focus lens out of the 70ties, because you have to do everything yourself !!(focus and settings )



The F4 300mm Orestegor is made by Meyer Optik in Gorlitz in Germany, and it is a Carl Zeis Sonnar copy counting 7 elements and 19 aperture blades to form a nice round opening at each aperture !!

Orginally it was made for 6 x 6 cm camera's but due to the fact that it has a T2 adapter on the rear it can be converted to nearly every mount.

I bought mine for a 45 euro at a flea market in the neighbourhood .
